Capel Vale Restaurant officially the best dining experience from Mandurah to Albany

Capel Vale is flying high this week after winning the ‘Judges Grand Commendation Trophy’, the highest award for restaurants from Mandurah to Albany, at the recent Restaurant & Catering Association of WA’s Awards for Excellence.

Not only did Capel Vale surpass many renowned restaurants in the food and wine mecca of the Margaret River region and down to the beautiful port of Albany in the people’s choice award, but Capel Vale also took home the honours for ‘Best Restaurant in a Winery’ and ‘Maitre’d of the Year’.

The Judges Grand Commendation Trophy is awarded to the best Formal & Casual dining restaurant based on public votes and anonymous judging visits.

CEO Simon Pratten said, “This award is the culmination of the winery and restaurant team working tirelessly over the previous year. It is also great to be critiqued not only by professional judges but by our loyal customers”.

The prestigious dinner which was held this Monday, celebrated the best of the best in the South West. The Awards for Excellence recognised the true professionals within the hospitality industry who are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence. These awards showcased the very best of the South of Western Australia by acknowledging excellence within the region by restaurants and cafes.
